Tab is a Slovenian battery producer that generates more of their revenue from automotive starter batteries than energy storage batteries.

Robot specializes in creating and installing building automation systems with a historical focus on hotels so they can use energy more efficiently.

Dadelo is a Polish online bike retailer. While they do sell e-bikes, they generate more revenue from traditional bicycles, which are not a direct climate solution.

TomTom is a Dutch company that specializes in GPS devices. They do offer some products and integrations with EVs, but it's a small portion of their business.

Elhim Iskra is a Bulgarian battery manufacturer that focuses on automobile starter batteries instead of energy storage batteries.

Redeia is a large owner and builder of electrical grids in Spain, helping more of that country use electricity instead of fossil fuels.

Lovisagruvan is a Swedish mining company that extracts zinc, lead, and silver. They do not provide a revenue breakdown of each that we can find as of our 2025 review.

Great Western Mining is an Irish firm that owns mining rights in Nevada in the US. They are exploring for both gold and copper, but as they have not begun, they do not have revenue from each, so we exclude them.

S.C. Promateris is a Romanian company that generates all of its revenue from developing and selling bio-based packaging materials that reduce the demand for fossil fuels in packaging and enable packaging to be composted instead of thrown away.

Charwood is a biomass power producer in France. As we no longer consider Biomass a climate solution, we exclude it, again in our 2025 review.

Transition Evergreen is a publicly traded fund that invests into climate solutions, not a company directly enabling climate solutions themselves, as of our 2025 review.

OSRAM is a lighting company in Germany that provides many LED chips that enable LEDs to provide more energy efficient lighting

DonkeyRepublic offers software for touchless bike rental services making it easy for anyone to rent a bike whenever they need instead of driving.

Enertronica Santerno is an Italian construction firm that focuses primarily on solar plants, helping the Italian grid run more on sunshine.

Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria is a Swedish mining company that primarily extracts copper, a critical mineral for the energy transition

Sin Cars is a Bulgarian car manufacturer that generates more revenue from selling their high-end ICE sports car than their electric-powered trucks, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.

Atalaya Mining is a Spanish mining company that generates a majority of its revenue from extracting copper, a key mineral for the energy transition.

EuroGroup is an Italian company that generated 57% of their revenue from building electric motors for use in EVs.

PT Barito Renewables Energy is an Indonesian firm that specializes in geothermal energy, a zero-carbon base load source of power.

Global Power Synergy is a Thai electrical utility that generates most of its power from gas and coal, so we exclude them.

Construction Joint Stock Company 47 is a Vietnamese firm that primarily builds hydropower projects

Tracodi is a Vietnamese construction firm that does some work in renewables, but also engages in other activities like stone quarries. As of our 2025 review, they do not disclose the breakdown, so we exclude them

Aboitiz Power is a Filipino electrical utility that generates about 25% of its power from renewable sources, so we exclude them.

Koh Brothers Eco Engineering generated about 1/3 of their revenue from renewable energy and 2/3rd's from generic construction activities, so we exclude them.

First Gen Corporation is a Filipino utility that generates a lot of power from geothermal, but even more from gas and coal.

VinFast is a Vietnamese electric vehicle and scooter company that enables people to drive with zero tailpipe emissions.

PT Indal Aluminium produces aluminum frames, some of which are used for solar panels, but most for other purposes, thus failing our 50% threshold.

Artoniq is a holding company that owns a few providers of electronic hardware like point-of-sale hardware in Malaysia. No climate solution

APM Automotive is a Malaysian manufacturer of automotive parts. They do manufacture some parts for locomotives, which can be used to haul passengers, enabling mass transportation, but this is a minority of their revenue

Protasco is a Malaysian construction company that does some work in clean energy but earns most of their revenue from building and maintaining roadways.

All Energy and Utilities generates a majority of their revenue from fossil fuel sales and distribution with only a small portion from renewables

Jati Tinggi Group is a Malaysian construction firm that generates most of its revenue from designing and building electrical grid systems, a key climate solution.

MDX is a real estate investment firm that also owns some power plants, with only a portion of the electricity generated coming from zero carbon resources.

XL Holdings is a Malaysian food and animal company. While they do fish farming, it is for ornamental fish, not food fish, which are not as important to optimize energy efficiency around, so we exclude them

B.Grimm Power is a Thai large developer of energy projects. Right now about half of their owned generation is gas and the other half renewables, so we exclude them, but we look forward to seeing this updated in future reviews.

BM GreenTech is a Malaysian firm that specializes in biomass boilers that enable the generation of electricity from burning wood. We do not consider biomass a climate solution in our 2025 review, so we exclude them

Indika Energy is an Indonesian energy company that generates some revenue from renewables but 85% from coal in our 2025 review.

Ratch Group is a Thai producer of electricity that generates most of its power from thermal sources like coal and gas.

Marine Electricals is an Indian construction company that specializes in serving the shipping industry. They also offer an automated building management system, but this is a fraction of their revenue.

Ahasolar builds software for the solar industry in India working to help expand the industry and help it run more efficiently.

Waa Solar is an Indian solar developer that owns multiple solar farms in the region, helping more of it run on sunshine instead of fossil fuels.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation specializes in granting leases to build out rail services in India. While this is critical to building railways, an important part of mass transit, it is fundamentally secondary to the primary activities of building and operating, so we exclude them.

MSTC engages in multiple business lines in India. While it generates some revenue from scrap recovery, it generates most from e-commerce, so we exclude them

Veer Energy is a pure play wind developer in India having built seven farms so far and counting.

Mena Mani claims to be involved in biofuel, which can be a climate solution, but they seem to be out of business, so we cannot clarify.

Associated Ceramics makes ceramic bricks that are used in the cement and aluminum industries. They say they also engage in solar energy, but we could find no confirmation of this in their financials.

Narmada Macplast Drip specializes in offering drip irrigation technologies so farmers can use less water to raise their crops.

Shivamshree Businesses is a pure play provider of solar systems in India, enabling more of that grid to run on sunshine.

BKV Industries seems to own a shrimp farm, but they offer no information on their farming practices and their relative efficiency, so we exclude them.

Rex Pipes and Cables makes some climate solutions like cables for the electrical grid and, interestingly, automotive buses, but they make pipes and sprinklers and other products that are not climate solution. They do not provide an accurate revenue breakdown of use cases between them, so we exclude them.

Ramco generates most of its revenue from providing cement in India. While they talk a lot about sustainability, they do not seem to actually be incorporating any kind of lower carbon, alternative cements, so we exclude them.

Sejal Glass is an Indian manufacturer of high quality architectural glass that helps buildings stay better insulated.

Kay Cee Energy & Infra specializes in siting and constructing electricity transmission towers that enable the electrical grid to expand.

Hariyana Ship Breakers specializes in breaking down old ships to extract the valuable metal so it can be repurposed, reducing the demand for virgin materials.

Trom Industries is a solar pure play company in India. They serve as a solar developer as well as offering solar products like rooftop systems and even deep freezers.

Jayshree Chemicals generated 6% of their revenue from wind power when last reported and 94% from chemicals, so we exclude them.

Australian Premium Solar India is a pure play manufacturer of solar cells in India, enabling more of the country's electrical grid to run on sunshine.

We could find no online information about GR Cables at all, so we exclude them for lack of information.

Mpact is a cardboard manufacturer in South Africa with over 65% of their pulp coming from recycled paper, thus reducing the need for new trees to be used in cardboard creation.

Zellidja is a Moroccan lead smelter that has been operating since the 1940's that also generates revenue from provider copper, another critical mineral for the energy transition, to markets in Europe. Lead is also a critical mineral in the energy transition for its use in batteries

East African Cables, based in Kenya, makes a majority of its revenue from building and supplying cables that are used to expand the electrical grid in East Africa, a key step before mass electrification of the region.

Electro Cable Egypt makes cables, most of which are used in the electrical system for expanding the grid, a precursor for electrifying everything.

Eaagads is a Kenyan coffee producer in Kenya. While coffee is a perennial plant, we have decided not to include it as a climate solution because it often involves destroying natural forest in order to replace it with coffee plantations. In other words, scaling coffee plantations will not lead to greater climate impact.

Metal Fabricators of Zambia generates most of its revenue from making copper wires for transmitting power, enabling the expansion of the electrical grid.

Metair is a South African provider of energy storage systems for homes and buildings, serving multiple markets in conjunction with solar power.

Societe Ivoirienne de Coco Rape is an Ivorian distributor of coconut products. While coconut is a perennial fruit, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of wild, natural forests, which move us backwards from a climate perspective. If they were to claim they were planting orchards in previously degraded land, that would be another story.

Multi-Trex integrated is a Nigerian processor of cocoa beans for chocolate. While cocoa is a perennial staple, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of natural forests, which is not beneficial from a climate perspective.

Unfortunately it looks like Ellies Holdings is no longer in business selling LEDs and solar solutions

Cocoa Processing Company is a Ghanaian processor of cocoa beans for chocolate. While cocoa is a perennial staple, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of natural forests, which is not beneficial from a climate perspective.

Renergen, despite its name, is a natural gas mining and distribution company that also sells helium (which is also not a climate solution)

Amalgamated Regional is an investor-owned conglomerate in Zimbabwe. They do own a battery business, but it serves mainly automotive businesses. They do sell some solar systems, but this seems to be a small portion of their revenue.

TAQA is a Moroccan electrical utility. While they do use some solar and wind in their generation mix, they use about 20x more coal as of our 2025 check, leading them to fail our utility filters.

Al Khair River is an Egyptian company that has claims about restoring land, but only seems to do generic agriculture. They also operate a small fish farm, but it is unclear to what extent they have improved efficiency in their fisheries, so we exclude them for lack of information.

CIE is an electrical utility operating in the Ivory Coast. They generate power with hydropower, but also a natural gas plant, leading them to fail our utility filter, so we exclude them.

Marula Mining is a Kenyan company and owner of multiple mines that are extracting critical minerals like cobalt, copper, and lithium. All of these are needed to make batteries and the expansion of the electrical grid.

LafargeHolcim is a Moroccan cement producer that notably does offer lower-carbon green cement alternatives. But, as of our 2025 review, these products still only represent a tiny fraction of their revenue in comparison to their traditional cement products.

Ciments du Maroc is a Moroccan cement producer. While they do have some innovative approaches to sustainability like running their CO2 emissions through an algae reactor, they do not actually make any alternative or low-carbon cement mixes.

Societe Industrielle is a Tunisian provider of gas, electricity, and water meters. While they do make some revenue from LED light bulbs, it is not a large part of their business and the products they make for electricity distribution are for low voltage use-cases, so not for expanding the electrical grid

ForRich is a Jamaican lighting and electrical services company. They provide energy efficient lighting, solar systems, and grid connection services to businesses in Jamaica, thus enabling more processes to run on electricity instead of fossil fuels

Salmones Camanchaca is a Chilean provider of farmed salmon. They track the efficiency of their fisheries to improve energy usage and reduce climate impacts, enabling them to make more protein with fewer resources.

Grupo Energia Bogota is a Columbian electrical utility that does not publish their electrical generation mix, so we exclude them

ISA Energia Brasil specializes in building high transmission power line projects that expand the electrical grid, an important-precursor to the electrification of everything

Equatorial Pará Distribuidora de Energia is a Brazilian utility that does not disclose their full electricity generation mix, so we exclude them

Wetzel is a Brazilian provider of Industrial LEDs as well as automotive parts and materials for low-voltage electrical installations. They do not disclose how much of their revenue they make from their LED business in their investor relations, so we exclude them

Conciviles is a Colombian construction company. While they do help build electrical transmission systems, an important climate solution, they generate more of their revenue from constructing roads and buildings.

Enel Generacion Piura is a Peruvian electric utility that generates most of its electricity from thermal sources, so we exclude them

Enel Generación Chile is a Chilean utility that generates almost 40% of its power from thermal sources, so we exclude them

Light is a Brazilian utility that generates all of its electricity from renewable assets

Monteiro Aranha is a Brazilian conglomerate involved in the paper, petrochemical, and real estate industries. While they do make some revenue from recycling paper, it is much less than half.

Companie de Electricidad de Tulua is a Columbian utility that generates power from multiple sources, including thermal. We could not find any publication of the exact mix of their sources however, so we exclude them

Natluk is an Ecuadorian company that provides wild and farm-raised shrimp. While more efficient fisheries are a climate solution, we could find no indication that Natluk was instituting any practices that would achieve this

COPEL is a Brazilian utility that generates 100% of its electricity from zero-carbon sources like hydro, solar, and wind

Irani is a large Brazilian paper and cardboard company. While they do seek to source their paper from sustainably managed forests, scaling paper and cardboard production will not mitigate climate change. They do generate some revenue from recycling, but it is a small amount, so we exclude them

Klabin is a large Brazilian paper and cardboard company. While we commend them for their efforts in sustainable forest management, the only climate solution they participate in directly is recycling, which makes up less than half of their revenue

Tecnoglass is a Columbian company that generates all of its revenue from providing high performance glass for buildings that enable them to keep a stable internal temperature with less energy

Rumo is a large Brazilian rail freight shipping company. They neither participate in passenger trains (mass transit) not seem to be investing in electrifying their train fleet, so we exclude them

Blumar is a Chilean provider of farm raised salmon. While making aquaculture more efficient is an important climate solution, we could not find any evidence that Blumar was investing in any activities beyond industry standard.

Ambipar is a Brazilian conglomerate that does emergency response, waste management, and risk planning. They do not generate a majority of their revenue from waste management with methane capture, so we exclude them

As of 2025, Guangdong Jiayan specializes in making thin copper foils that are used in lithium ion batteries for the EV and energy storage supply chains.

Yingkou Jinchen is a solar manufacturing company in China that specializes in various parts of the solar manufacturing process that help make solar panels robust and able to operate in the field for decades. In our 2025 review, we note they also have expanded into hydrogen electrolyzer production, another key climate solution.

As of 2025, Flat Glass Group is a Chinese manufacturer of various types of glass including glass for solar panels, dynamic glass that will dim when exposed to the sun, and high-performance glass that helps keep buildings insulated, all important climate solutions.

China Yangtze Power Co owns, operates, and invests in hydropower projects in China and around the world. Their projects generate electricity without burning fossil fuels. They also have biodigester plants that capture methane and turn it into electricity.

Ming Yang Smart Energy Group produces wind turbines and solar panels, and as of our 2025 review, they also have innovated in aquaculture, adding fish rearing into their wind turbines.

NYOCOR is a Chinese developer of solar and wind projects for the domestic market, thus helping more of China run on zero-carbon energy. Since we first evaluated in 2023, they have also expanded into energy storage, another key climate solution.

As of 2025, Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower is a Chinese developer of hydropower projects, an important source of zero-carbon energy. It also develops wind and solar projects.

NARI is a Chinese provider of smart grid technologies that enable the electrical grid to handle and distribute electricity with greater efficiency. They also make some of their revenue from automation and monitoring technologies for other industries

Shenzhen SC New Energy Technology builds the machines that enable nearly 300 solar cell manufacturers to run around the world.

Ginlong is a Chinese manufacturer that makes all of its revenue from electricity inverters that are used to transform power captured by solar panels into usable electricity for the power grid.

Windey Energy generates its revenue from manufacturing wind turbines while also developing their own wind projects and energy storage projects as well as software built for the wind energy industry.

Suzhou Maxwell is a Chinese company that specializes in building solar cells and other components that are used in solar panels. They also make machines for the semiconductor industry.

Again in 2025, Shenzhen Senior Technology generates a majority of its revenue from building and manufacturing components for lithium-ion batteries, an important climate solution.

Kedali is a Chinese manufacturer of batteries and auto-parts. While they do sell auto-parts for traditional ICE cars, they generate a majority of their revenue from EV parts, and as of 2025, specifically batteries.

LEAD specializes in automated manufacturing processes and, in 2025, continues to generate a majority of their revenue from manufacturing parts, components, and processes for the EV and solar industries.

Capchem is a Chinese chemical company that makes over two thirds of its revenue from selling chemicals that are used in lithium ion batteries, a key climate solution.

Eve Energy is a Chinese manufacturer of lithium batteries that are used for both energy storage and powering of devices that enable the automation of buildings and smart meters to more efficiently use electricity. They also make lithium ion batteries for consumer use, which is not necessarily a climate solution.

As in 2023, in 2025, China Southern Power Grid Energy Efficiency generates a majority of its revenue from identifying areas that electricity users could be more energy efficient. Identifying and fixing such opportunities is an important climate solution as demand for electricity grows, it must be used as efficiently as possible.

Wuhan Sanzhen is a water distribution and wastewater processing company in China, neither of which are climate solutions. They make a majority of their revenue from providing tap water and they do not report any water conservation strategies beyond industry standard.

Landscaping is not a climate solution and is different than restoring land to a natural state and Palm Eco-Town generates over 90% of its revenue from doing landscaping design for homes, apartments, and buildings.
