Adiss is a Romanian construction firm that generates some revenue from green energy projects, but most from traditional water treatment, which, while important, is not a climate solution.

AMS-OSRAM is an Austrian semiconductor and lighting firm. As of our 2025 review, they generate most of their revenue from semiconductors, so we exclude them.

Frey is a real estate developer in France that is admirably focused on making its buildings more sustainable. They are not included, however, as they are an implementer, not an enabler of climate solutions, as of our 2025 review.

S.C. Constructii Feroviare Craiova is a Romanian construction company that generates a portion of its revenue from electrifying rail lines, an important climate solution. Unfortunately they generate more of their revenue from other, non-climate solution activities, so we exclude them.

Gullberg & Jansson is a Swedish company that makes a variety of products for swimming pools. While they do make a heat pump for pools that enables pools to be heated with less energy, they generate more revenue from their other suite of non-climate solution products

LUG is a Polish lighting company that uses LEDs in a majority of its lighting products, enabling the production of the same light just with less energy.

OXE Marine is a Swedish manufacturer of diesel outrigger motors. While they do offer an electrical hybrid version, they still generate a majority of their revenue from the diesel version as of our 2025 review.

Hydro-Exploitations Societe is a French company that develops mini-hydro systems that can be placed in rivers to generate electricity without blocking them.

AB Electrolux makes a range of household appliances with only a small fraction coming from heat pumps, the climate solution as of our 2025 review.

Apator makes a range of electricity and water sensors and actuators that make it possible for building owners to remotely measure their utilities and take action based on those measurements thus increasing their energy efficiency.

DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft is a German utility that generates all of its power from hydropower, a carbon-free source of electricity.

Govena Lighting is a Polish electronics manufacturing firm. They do make LED lights, but they also make low voltage transformers and dimmers which are not climate solutions. They provide very little detail beyond this, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.

Envropi is a Greek construction firm that does serve the hydropower industry, but generates most of its revenue from other industries like retail stores and buildings.

learned is a SPAC that talks about acquiring climate solution companies, but has not seemed to have done so as of our 2025 review.

Hopium is a French company that manufactures vehicles that run on hydrogen in France, a zero-tailpipe emissions fuel.

Inwido is the largest provider of contemporary, high performing windows in Europe that enable buildings there to maintain a more stable internal temperature with less energy.

Compagnie de Chemins is a historic railroad manufacturing company in France. While they do build passenger cars and electric trains, they also build many other elements of railroads and they do not break down their revenue by segment.

IRCE is an Italian cable manufacturing company that generates a majority of its revenue from cables used in electrification (like electric motors) and electricity transmission.

OMER is an Italian company that specializes in building parts for passenger trains like doors and air conditioning units, enabling the climate solution of mass transit.

Dizon Copper-Silver mines has not started extracting minerals, so we do not know their breakdown of revenue

Light Up Total Solutions is a Thai provider of LED lights that enable users in Thailand to get the same light with far less electricity.

Swift Energy is a relatively new public company. They make process and control systems for a number of industries including both oil and gas and renewables. They do not provide an industry breakdown (yet), so we exclude them for now.

MAG Holdings owns two Malaysian shrimp farms. They say they are in process of installing floating solar panels on their farms, so the farms would not need to run on diesel generators. When this happens, we will include them.

Manila Mining Corporation explores for a critical mineral, copper, but generates most of its revenue from gold and silver which are not critical minerals.

Plaza Wires manufacturers wires and household appliances in India. From what we can their wires are mostly used for residential wiring, not grid expansion so we exclude them.

Megatherm provides industrial equipment for a variety of use cases. While one is power distribution, they generate more of their revenue from the others like steel manufacturing.

SGN Telecoms specializes in building cables used in expanding the electrical grid. It also makes solar water heaters, another climate solution.

Mpact is a cardboard manufacturer in South Africa with over 65% of their pulp coming from recycled paper, thus reducing the need for new trees to be used in cardboard creation.

Zellidja is a Moroccan lead smelter that has been operating since the 1940's that also generates revenue from provider copper, another critical mineral for the energy transition, to markets in Europe. Lead is also a critical mineral in the energy transition for its use in batteries

East African Cables, based in Kenya, makes a majority of its revenue from building and supplying cables that are used to expand the electrical grid in East Africa, a key step before mass electrification of the region.

Electro Cable Egypt makes cables, most of which are used in the electrical system for expanding the grid, a precursor for electrifying everything.

Eaagads is a Kenyan coffee producer in Kenya. While coffee is a perennial plant, we have decided not to include it as a climate solution because it often involves destroying natural forest in order to replace it with coffee plantations. In other words, scaling coffee plantations will not lead to greater climate impact.

Metal Fabricators of Zambia generates most of its revenue from making copper wires for transmitting power, enabling the expansion of the electrical grid.

Metair is a South African provider of energy storage systems for homes and buildings, serving multiple markets in conjunction with solar power.

Societe Ivoirienne de Coco Rape is an Ivorian distributor of coconut products. While coconut is a perennial fruit, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of wild, natural forests, which move us backwards from a climate perspective. If they were to claim they were planting orchards in previously degraded land, that would be another story.

Multi-Trex integrated is a Nigerian processor of cocoa beans for chocolate. While cocoa is a perennial staple, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of natural forests, which is not beneficial from a climate perspective.

Cocoa Processing Company is a Ghanaian processor of cocoa beans for chocolate. While cocoa is a perennial staple, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of natural forests, which is not beneficial from a climate perspective.

Renergen, despite its name, is a natural gas mining and distribution company that also sells helium (which is also not a climate solution)

Amalgamated Regional is an investor-owned conglomerate in Zimbabwe. They do own a battery business, but it serves mainly automotive businesses. They do sell some solar systems, but this seems to be a small portion of their revenue.

TAQA is a Moroccan electrical utility. While they do use some solar and wind in their generation mix, they use about 20x more coal as of our 2025 check, leading them to fail our utility filters.

Al Khair River is an Egyptian company that has claims about restoring land, but only seems to do generic agriculture. They also operate a small fish farm, but it is unclear to what extent they have improved efficiency in their fisheries, so we exclude them for lack of information.

CIE is an electrical utility operating in the Ivory Coast. They generate power with hydropower, but also a natural gas plant, leading them to fail our utility filter, so we exclude them.

Marula Mining is a Kenyan company and owner of multiple mines that are extracting critical minerals like cobalt, copper, and lithium. All of these are needed to make batteries and the expansion of the electrical grid.

LafargeHolcim is a Moroccan cement producer that notably does offer lower-carbon green cement alternatives. But, as of our 2025 review, these products still only represent a tiny fraction of their revenue in comparison to their traditional cement products.

Ciments du Maroc is a Moroccan cement producer. While they do have some innovative approaches to sustainability like running their CO2 emissions through an algae reactor, they do not actually make any alternative or low-carbon cement mixes.

Societe Industrielle is a Tunisian provider of gas, electricity, and water meters. While they do make some revenue from LED light bulbs, it is not a large part of their business and the products they make for electricity distribution are for low voltage use-cases, so not for expanding the electrical grid

ForRich is a Jamaican lighting and electrical services company. They provide energy efficient lighting, solar systems, and grid connection services to businesses in Jamaica, thus enabling more processes to run on electricity instead of fossil fuels

Salmones Camanchaca is a Chilean provider of farmed salmon. They track the efficiency of their fisheries to improve energy usage and reduce climate impacts, enabling them to make more protein with fewer resources.

Grupo Energia Bogota is a Columbian electrical utility that does not publish their electrical generation mix, so we exclude them

ISA Energia Brasil specializes in building high transmission power line projects that expand the electrical grid, an important-precursor to the electrification of everything

Equatorial Pará Distribuidora de Energia is a Brazilian utility that does not disclose their full electricity generation mix, so we exclude them

Wetzel is a Brazilian provider of Industrial LEDs as well as automotive parts and materials for low-voltage electrical installations. They do not disclose how much of their revenue they make from their LED business in their investor relations, so we exclude them

Conciviles is a Colombian construction company. While they do help build electrical transmission systems, an important climate solution, they generate more of their revenue from constructing roads and buildings.

Enel Generacion Piura is a Peruvian electric utility that generates most of its electricity from thermal sources, so we exclude them

Irani is a large Brazilian paper and cardboard company. While they do seek to source their paper from sustainably managed forests, scaling paper and cardboard production will not mitigate climate change. They do generate some revenue from recycling, but it is a small amount, so we exclude them

Klabin is a large Brazilian paper and cardboard company. While we commend them for their efforts in sustainable forest management, the only climate solution they participate in directly is recycling, which makes up less than half of their revenue

Tecnoglass is a Columbian company that generates all of its revenue from providing high performance glass for buildings that enable them to keep a stable internal temperature with less energy

Rumo is a large Brazilian rail freight shipping company. They neither participate in passenger trains (mass transit) not seem to be investing in electrifying their train fleet, so we exclude them

Blumar is a Chilean provider of farm raised salmon. While making aquaculture more efficient is an important climate solution, we could not find any evidence that Blumar was investing in any activities beyond industry standard.

Ambipar is a Brazilian conglomerate that does emergency response, waste management, and risk planning. They do not generate a majority of their revenue from waste management with methane capture, so we exclude them

Ningbo Ronbay is a Chinese supplier of cathode battery materials that are a key component in making batteries for EVs and energy storage.

Trina Solar is a Chinese solar cell manufacturer that makes multiple components that are used to construct solar panels as well as energy storage systems.

Wuxi Autowell specializes in making automated processes for the production of solar panels in China, thus helping drive down the costs of the solar supply chain and making solar more affordable to deploy around the world. They also sell machines to manufacture batteries (another climate solution) and generate some of their revenue from semiconductor manufacturing lines (not a climate solution)

Artech Solar is a Chinese manufacturer of solar tracking systems that help solar panels shift over the course of the day so they get optimal output as the sun moves across the sky. They also construct innovative mounting systems that can enable solar to be deployed in more places.

GoodWe is a Chinese manufacturer of solar inverters in China, a key part of building a solar farm that converts the solar energy into usable electricity. As of 2025, they also offer energy storage solutions that pair with their panels.

Pylon Technologies is a Chinese manufacturer of battery powered energy storage systems that enable renewable electricity to be stored and then deployed when needed. They offer products for both residential and industrial use.

Beijing SinoHytec is a Chinese pureplay manufacturer of fuel cell systems that can generate power by burning hydrogen, a fuel that releases no GHG emissions when burned.

Hangzhou First Applied Material specializes in films specifically for the solar industry that help protect solar panels from the elements, enabling them to last decades.

China National Nuclear Power Co is a Chinese developer, owner, and operator of nuclear power and clean energy projects in China, both zero-carbon sources of electricity that provide baseload power.

China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Co owns a series of hydroelectric plants in China, many of which have pumped storage, and they also build and maintain extensive electricity power grids, a necessary piece of infrastructure for the electrification of everything.

Zhejiang Provincial New Energy is a Chinese zero-carbon utility that derives all of its electricity from zero carbon sources like hydro, renewables, and hydrogen.

CNGR is a Chinese provider of multiple base ingredients for batteries that are used in EV's and Energy storage applications, both critical climate solutions. We have moved them from a "pure play" to passes our revenue filter as they also generate some revenue from non-climate solution battery applications, like smart phones.
