Adiss is a Romanian construction firm that generates some revenue from green energy projects, but most from traditional water treatment, which, while important, is not a climate solution.

AMS-OSRAM is an Austrian semiconductor and lighting firm. As of our 2025 review, they generate most of their revenue from semiconductors, so we exclude them.

Frey is a real estate developer in France that is admirably focused on making its buildings more sustainable. They are not included, however, as they are an implementer, not an enabler of climate solutions, as of our 2025 review.

S.C. Constructii Feroviare Craiova is a Romanian construction company that generates a portion of its revenue from electrifying rail lines, an important climate solution. Unfortunately they generate more of their revenue from other, non-climate solution activities, so we exclude them.

Gullberg & Jansson is a Swedish company that makes a variety of products for swimming pools. While they do make a heat pump for pools that enables pools to be heated with less energy, they generate more revenue from their other suite of non-climate solution products

LUG is a Polish lighting company that uses LEDs in a majority of its lighting products, enabling the production of the same light just with less energy.

OXE Marine is a Swedish manufacturer of diesel outrigger motors. While they do offer an electrical hybrid version, they still generate a majority of their revenue from the diesel version as of our 2025 review.

Hydro-Exploitations Societe is a French company that develops mini-hydro systems that can be placed in rivers to generate electricity without blocking them.

AB Electrolux makes a range of household appliances with only a small fraction coming from heat pumps, the climate solution as of our 2025 review.

Apator makes a range of electricity and water sensors and actuators that make it possible for building owners to remotely measure their utilities and take action based on those measurements thus increasing their energy efficiency.

DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft is a German utility that generates all of its power from hydropower, a carbon-free source of electricity.

Govena Lighting is a Polish electronics manufacturing firm. They do make LED lights, but they also make low voltage transformers and dimmers which are not climate solutions. They provide very little detail beyond this, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.

Envropi is a Greek construction firm that does serve the hydropower industry, but generates most of its revenue from other industries like retail stores and buildings.

learned is a SPAC that talks about acquiring climate solution companies, but has not seemed to have done so as of our 2025 review.

Hopium is a French company that manufactures vehicles that run on hydrogen in France, a zero-tailpipe emissions fuel.

Inwido is the largest provider of contemporary, high performing windows in Europe that enable buildings there to maintain a more stable internal temperature with less energy.

Compagnie de Chemins is a historic railroad manufacturing company in France. While they do build passenger cars and electric trains, they also build many other elements of railroads and they do not break down their revenue by segment.

IRCE is an Italian cable manufacturing company that generates a majority of its revenue from cables used in electrification (like electric motors) and electricity transmission.

OMER is an Italian company that specializes in building parts for passenger trains like doors and air conditioning units, enabling the climate solution of mass transit.

Yuasa is a Thai producer of batteries. While some are used for energy storage and EVs, the vast majority of their revenue comes from traditional automobile batteries.

CCK is a Malaysian animal product company. While they do engage in aquaculture, they generate over half of their revenue from land-based animal products, so we exclude them

Hero Global Investment is an Indonesian firm that invests and builds geothermal and solar plants

Sena Development is a real estate development firm that generates a small portion of its revenue from solar development in Thailand

Ratch Pathana Energy is a Thai owner of multiple power plants with the vast majority of its generation capacity coming from gas.

While Merdeka Copper Gold does search for copper, it is the only critical mineral it extracts, with most of its revenue coming from non critical minerals like gold.

Waa Solar is an Indian solar developer that owns multiple solar farms in the region, helping more of it run on sunshine instead of fossil fuels.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation specializes in granting leases to build out rail services in India. While this is critical to building railways, an important part of mass transit, it is fundamentally secondary to the primary activities of building and operating, so we exclude them.

MSTC engages in multiple business lines in India. While it generates some revenue from scrap recovery, it generates most from e-commerce, so we exclude them

Veer Energy is a pure play wind developer in India having built seven farms so far and counting.

Mena Mani claims to be involved in biofuel, which can be a climate solution, but they seem to be out of business, so we cannot clarify.

Associated Ceramics makes ceramic bricks that are used in the cement and aluminum industries. They say they also engage in solar energy, but we could find no confirmation of this in their financials.

Narmada Macplast Drip specializes in offering drip irrigation technologies so farmers can use less water to raise their crops.

Shivamshree Businesses is a pure play provider of solar systems in India, enabling more of that grid to run on sunshine.

BKV Industries seems to own a shrimp farm, but they offer no information on their farming practices and their relative efficiency, so we exclude them.

Rex Pipes and Cables makes some climate solutions like cables for the electrical grid and, interestingly, automotive buses, but they make pipes and sprinklers and other products that are not climate solution. They do not provide an accurate revenue breakdown of use cases between them, so we exclude them.

Ramco generates most of its revenue from providing cement in India. While they talk a lot about sustainability, they do not seem to actually be incorporating any kind of lower carbon, alternative cements, so we exclude them.

Trom Industries is a solar pure play company in India. They serve as a solar developer as well as offering solar products like rooftop systems and even deep freezers.

Jayshree Chemicals generated 6% of their revenue from wind power when last reported and 94% from chemicals, so we exclude them.

Australian Premium Solar India is a pure play manufacturer of solar cells in India, enabling more of the country's electrical grid to run on sunshine.

We could find no online information about GR Cables at all, so we exclude them for lack of information.

TotalEnergies is a Senegalese company that offers fuel, gas, and solar lamps. We dug into them for the latter, but they generate most of their revenue from fossil fuels, so we exclude them.

CEC African Investment invests into many power plants in Africa. They have not updated their materials since 2021, so we cannot accurately determine their mix of zero carbon vs. fossil fuel generated electricity.

The Egyptian Company for Construction Development generates some of its revenue from building electrical transmission lines (a climate solution) but a majority from building and maintaining desalination plants, an important service, but not a climate solution

Auto Nejma Maroc is a Moroccan provider of heavy duty vehicles. They are all ICE vehicles and offer no electrified alternatives.

While Gold Fields Limited does explore for some critical minerals like copper, it generates a majority of its revenue from, well Gold, which is not a critical mineral for the energy transition.

Transcorp Power is a Nigerian electricity provider. They provide their electricity from a gas plant, so we exclude them

Sappi Limited is a South African paper and cardboard manufacturer. While they do integrate recycled pulp into their process it is less than 50%, leading to us to exclude them

Gadwa for Industrial Development is an Egyptian company owned by AMG, a Saudi Arabian Conglomerate. They report to make cables but show no information on whether they are high-voltage electrical cables for the grid or low-voltage for electronics or residential use, so we exclude them for lacking information.

Klabin is a large Brazilian paper and cardboard company. While we commend them for their efforts in sustainable forest management, the only climate solution they participate in directly is recycling, which makes up less than half of their revenue

Rumo is a large Brazilian rail freight shipping company. They neither participate in passenger trains (mass transit) not seem to be investing in electrifying their train fleet, so we exclude them

Trina Solar is a Chinese solar cell manufacturer that makes multiple components that are used to construct solar panels as well as energy storage systems.

Wuxi Autowell specializes in making automated processes for the production of solar panels in China, thus helping drive down the costs of the solar supply chain and making solar more affordable to deploy around the world. They also sell machines to manufacture batteries (another climate solution) and generate some of their revenue from semiconductor manufacturing lines (not a climate solution)

Artech Solar is a Chinese manufacturer of solar tracking systems that help solar panels shift over the course of the day so they get optimal output as the sun moves across the sky. They also construct innovative mounting systems that can enable solar to be deployed in more places.

GoodWe is a Chinese manufacturer of solar inverters in China, a key part of building a solar farm that converts the solar energy into usable electricity. As of 2025, they also offer energy storage solutions that pair with their panels.

Pylon Technologies is a Chinese manufacturer of battery powered energy storage systems that enable renewable electricity to be stored and then deployed when needed. They offer products for both residential and industrial use.

Beijing SinoHytec is a Chinese pureplay manufacturer of fuel cell systems that can generate power by burning hydrogen, a fuel that releases no GHG emissions when burned.

Hangzhou First Applied Material specializes in films specifically for the solar industry that help protect solar panels from the elements, enabling them to last decades.
